| Make a slideshow - it's easy! |
About 1 1/2 months ago Pastor Pong asked if we would come to the church he had started down at the barracks below Faith. He started it with the construction men working on the auditorium and people started coming from that small village below Faith too. There were about 20 people January 1 coming. Sandy and I were excited to see God at work there and Sandy offered to talk with Faith and see if they could meet in a room at school. They were excited and said yes. We would go to the service and worship and realized the kids would just have to sit in the church service, so a few weeks ago Sandy, Jake and I would take the kids out and let them play on the playground and then give a simple lesson and candy to those who would memorize a verse. It started with about 7-10 kids and now has about 30 kids this past Sunday morning!!! You can see the kids piled up in our truck, we would take them home after the service and it took about 3 loads this Sunday to get them all home. Wow, its so exciting to see it grow that fast! Please be praying for Barracks Bible Church as they develop and Pastor Pong as he and his wife ,Janet desire to reach the lost.

This is great! I loved seeing all the kids (and Jake in at least one picture [sit up, don't slouch jake!], and especially memorizing verses. Great idea, and a wonderful example of taking advantage of an opportunity.
